Hey hey!

You might be wondering a little about me. Well, there’s not much to say…

Firstly my name is Elise. I am a student at Canning College doing my TEE. I work at Woolworths part time and study, play starcraft, edit photos, and read books and webcomics in my free time.

I should say why I chose to take AIT (applied information technology). Well, I have always loved computers and would call myself a bit of a nerd/geek. I  use Adobe Photoshop in my free time just for fun and I have always loved anything artistic. AIT offered a way to use my love for art and computers to help me gain a TER that I would be pleased with.

You may wonder what I want to do with my life after I finish at Canning College and weather or not I plan to stay working as a cashier forever. Well I plan to go to university after Canning College and study Primary School Education. I want to become a full time lower grades primary school teacher. I want to teach kindergarten to 3rd grade. And while I am studying I’ll work at Woolworths to keep cash in my pocket.

Anyway I should probably share a little personal information so that you know more about ME. I am Western Australian. I am 6th generation Australian on one side and 1st on the other.  I hate summer. I am born in the winter. The best times of the day in my opinion are after dark, best between 23:00-03:00. My mind is most alert after sunset. My favourite pass times are reading webcomics and listening to music. I love fantasy books. Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight” series and Cate Tiernan’s “Wicca” series (otherwise known as Sweep) are my favourites at this time. “Questionable Content”, “Sam and Fuzzy”, “Dominic Deegan”, and “Queen of Wands” are the webcomics I am reading. I love punk rock music; My Chemical Romance and Good Charlotte are my favourite bands.
